New Orleans is as dog-friendly of a city as you’ll ever live. Dogs are welcome into many public places, both inside and outside- and not just little dogs but dogs of all sizes. Residences often leave water bowls out front for our four legged friends supply and businesses (restaurants, stores, etc.) will be ready with treat-in-hand.

New Orleans has several dog parks for your dog to socialize and for you to wear him/her out with little effort. Here are four that are sure to get the job done.

Living in New Orleans, crime is going to happen in your neighborhood no matter where you live. Varying levels of home quality and neighborhood safety from one street to the next is part of what makes this city so unique. If you are buying New Orleans property, particularly if you’re relocating here, you must understand the difference between the many New Orleans neighborhoods to limit your chances of becoming a victim of a crime.

A Real Estate transaction is complicated.  Agents and even Brokers often learn something new every time they list or sell a property, so if this is your first time buying or selling a house you’re in for a whirlwind of activity.  Even trying to write a bullet-by-bullet blog entry as a “how-to” for those folks was difficult as there are so many moving pieces and parts.

I saved myself- and you- the frustration and consulted Google only to find this excellently laid out Flow Chart of what steps occur in a Real Estate Transaction for whom and when.  Enjoy!

I just want to send a huge thank you to my friends and family over at New Orleans Local Online Marketing and PR company, Story Block Media, for taking the time to design my website. They are a truly fantastic company that I am proud to be a part of; it will be so exciting to see what great things y’all accomplish these next few years.

Special thanks to my Boyfriend Reed for somehow managing to do it all. I love you!
